Stratford St Mary: Motorcyclist dies following A12 crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the A12 earlier this week.

The accident happened on the northbound carriageway at the Suffolk border when a man is believed to have lost control of his Suzuki motorbike.

It collided with the central reservation at junction 30 for Stratford St Mary at around 7.25pm on Monday.

The motorcyclist, a 64-year-old man from Hornchurch, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he died yesterday afternoon.

Any witnesses to the crash should call officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
