This week’s iWitness weekly challenge of silhouette showed that not everything that lurks in Suffolk’s shadows has to be spooky.
Sunsets provided the perfect backdrops as wildlife, landscapes and man made structures captured in perfect silhouettes in this week’s challenge.
We had a deer out at dawn and an owl taking flight from a branch just as the night was drawing in, as well as swans moving downstream.
This week’s challenge was tough to judge, but Peter Cutts stole the winning title with his picture from Burnham Overy Staithe as the sun was setting.
The vibrant blues and oranges of the sky, the perfect still water and the boats in silhouette together created a stunning photograph.
Next week’s Suffolk iWitness weekly challenge is transport.
We want to see your creative pictures of any mode of transport you can find, from bikes laying against a fence as the sun sets to boats travelling in the sun and everything in between.
To take part, become a Suffolk iWitness member - and you could see you pictures online or in one of our newspapers.
