FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning to a car blaze which spread to a block of four garages.
The fire broke out at around 1.15am today in Hawkins Road, Sudbury. A crew from Sudbury attended the scene but soon called for back-up from another pump.
They used two breathing apparatus and a water fog to battle the flames, which had spread from the first car to two neighbouring vehicles, and was thought to have spread to a block of four garages.
Crews stayed on scene to cut away garage roofs to check for any remaining hotspots.
