Three libraries in South Suffolk are hosting three different events over the next few days.

Sudbury Library is staging an antiques valuation evening today (Thursday, May 10) supported by the Friends of Sudbury Library. The event starts at 7pm and tickets are £3.

Glemsford Library is hosting a fringe theatre production of “Pals” tomorrow (Friday, May 11) in the village hall.

This piece of drama is set in the early years of the First World War and is based on the diaries of friends whose strong friendship and sense of humour gets them through dreadful experiences.

It is supported by Creative Arts East and the performance is at 7.30pm and tickets are £7.50.

And the Friends of Long Melford Library are holding a Spring Fair, on Saturday, May 20, from 2pm to 4pm, where people can drop in to the library to pick up some plants, preserves, crafts, books, cakes and refreshments and meet a local author, all while helping raise funds to support the library.
