Officers pursued the driver of a BMW estate who had been in collision with a VW Golf on Hythe Hill and failed to stop following the incident and when requested to by police.
Connell pleaded guilty to careless driving, failing to stop when required by a police officer, driving without insurance, driving while disqualified and failing to report an accident.
