SUDBURY man Richard Budd is set to join over 1,000 runners from the Mr Men and Little Miss team at this year’s Virgin London Marathon, on Sunday, April 21, as they attempt to run over 25,000 miles, the earth’s circumference, to mark the 25th Anniversary for Children with Cancer UK.

The 40-year-old, who is an acoustic consultant, has spent months preparing for the race and hopes to raise £1,500.

The charity was inaugurated by Diana, Princess of Wales, in January 1988, after Eddie and Marion O’Gorman lost two children to cancer within nine months of each other.
