Police in Essex dealt with hundreds of incidents in the early hours of the morning following England’s World Cup quarter-final victory.
Control room staff created 374 incidents between midnight and 5.30am on Sunday – more than one every minute.
The force reminded people that non-urgent reports can be made online at essex.police.uk.
In Suffolk, police had a busy evening and early morning after the national football team progressed to the semi-final stage of the tournament.
However, no serious incidents of disorder were reported.
