A Suffolk-based animal charity is appealing for help to trace the winner of toy pony following its Christmas fair.
Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare (SESAW) says the pony – named Maddie – was ready to take up residence with the highest bidder following an auction at its festive event held in Long Melford.
However, the phone number given on the top bidding ticket is incorrect and organisers have not yet been able to contact the winner.
The charity is now appealing for help to trace the person who placed a bid in the name of R.A. Guynan.
The prize will be held until Sunday, December 10, before being offered to the next highest bidder.
Anyone who can help find Maddie’s rightful owner can leave a message on 01787 210888 or email info@sesaw.co.uk
