Frozen Planet in concert

There will be snow at Snape Maltings, as the BBC Concert Orchestra presents Frozen Planet in Concert.
It will feature some of the most memorable scenes from the David Attenborough-fronted production.
See breath-taking high-definition footage of polar bears battling, birds soaring through snowy landscapes and killer whales hunting their prey.

The Big Sea Dip

Take part in the big sea dip this weekend to raise money for the Cancer Centre Campaign.
If you aren’t brave enough to go swimming in the sea, you can still take part by just paddling in the water.
It is free to enter - all you need to do is try and raise as much sponsorship as you can.
Nature in Watercolour

Abberton Reservoir Centre, Colchester
Get creative this weekend and take part in a watercolour course.
It will show you all the techniques needed to do a pencil drawing from a reference picture and then build up colour and detail in layers of watercolour washes.
