ANGLIAN Water held its biggest-ever customer consultation by taking to the streets and asking people how it should invest its profits.
The water company met with consumers in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, asking them how it should keep bills fair and affordable while tackling issues including population growth and climate change.
The feedback will play a key role in shaping the company’s business plan, set to go to the regulator, Ofwat, in 2014.
An Anglian Water spokesman said: “What our customers tell us really will influence the size of customers’ bills over the next five years.”
