A care home near Bury St Edmunds is inviting friends, family and neighbours to join residents and staff for its community garden party this summer.

The family-friendly event will take place at Fornham House, in Fornham St Martin, on Saturday, August 11, between 2pm and 4pm.

Guests are invited to enjoy a barbecue, ice-creams, refreshments and take part in a range of activities.

Stuart Coleman, manager at Fornham House, said: “Try your luck at guessing the name of the teddy bear. Children can enjoy face painting, a candy cart and many games, while there will be prize raffles, a tombola and other stalls for adults.

“We are also delighted to the confirm that the local majorettes will be performing some fabulous routines for everyone’s entertainment.

“It promises to be an afternoon of fun-packed entertainment for all the family to enjoy.”
