A Suffolk care home raised more than £400 for its residents through a Christmas fete.
The event at Barking Hall Nursing Home, near Needham Market, included festive refreshments, a variety of craft stalls including cakes, homemade Christmas cards, and wreaths.
There was also a tombola, raffle and a lucky dip and a chance to visit Father Christmas who managed to squeeze in a visit.
Claire Lidderth, activities coordinator for Barking Hall, said: “We all had such a lovely afternoon and are delighted to have raised an amazing £440 towards the residents’ fund, which is used for outings, entertainment or specific items that they wish to purchase for their home or garden.
“The effort that went into all the stalls was excellent and we are thankful to everyone who came along to support our Christmas event. All our residents thoroughly enjoyed the festivities.”
