A teenager has been charged with possession of a knife and threatening behaviour following two alleged altercations in Suffolk.
Suffolk police said today that a 16-year-old boy had been charged with two counts of possession of a knife in a public place and two counts of using threatening or abusive reports.
Officers were called at around 6.20pm on Sunday, April 22, to reports of an altercation in Green Fleet Drive, Lowestoft, involving a teenager who was allegedly in possession of a knife and had made threats towards another boy and a man.
Officers attended and arrested a teenage boy. He was charged with possession of a knife and threatening behaviour. He has also been charged in connection with an incident at Bloomsbury Close, Lowestoft, on Friday, April 6, in which a man was allegedly threatened with a knife.
The teenager has been remanded in youth detention to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on May 15.
No one is reported to have been hurt in connection with the incidents.
