A police car chase ended with a dramatic “sting” in Suffolk last night.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit posted footage of the stop in Stowmarket on Twitter.
Officers said the car had failed to stop and had then been “stung” by an armed response vehicle.
A stinger strip is a device used to burst the tyres of a car to bring a chase to a safe end.
The roads policing team said a driver was detained nearby for dangerous driving, drug driving and driving without a licence of insurance. They were also detained for possession of drugs.
