A light dusting of snow is set to fall on Suffolk next week, according to forecasters, but the milder weather is not set to come to a sudden end.
Temperatures have regularly reached above 10C over recent months, much higher than the average for this time of year, which is between 5-6C.
Steve Western, a forecaster at Weatherquest, said: “About next Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday, the winds will turn more to the east and will have sleet.
“There might also be some patches of snow but I don’t think that will last for too long.”
Despite predictions of some snow, the temperature is not too drastically over the next week, with Mr Western suggesting the mercury will hit between 4-7C during the day.
He added: “At night the temperatures will be around freezing. There will be no particular sharp frosts at the moment.”
