The big day has arrived – an entire 24 hours to celebrate Suffolk, and everything that the county offers.

Hundreds of people are due to host events especially for Suffolk Day today, and we will be bringing you the latest news and pictures.

Introduced for the first time last year, Suffolk Day is the brainchild of BBC Radio Suffolk breakfast show host Mark Murphy.

Backed by the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star, the annual day on June 21 brings together communities from across the county.

• This feed will keep you updated throughout the day.
