TWO separate incidents, one in Suffolk and one in Essex, are causing delays on the A12 this evening.

Drivers have been advised to take care when passing an abnormal load that is causing delays on the A12 in Suffolk, between the Keeper’s Lane junction in Little Glemham and the B1437 White’s Lane junction in Kessingland.

In Essex, a chemical spill has caused one northbound lane of the dual carriageway to close between junctions 11 and 12.

Fire crews from Brentwood, Chelmsford, Ingatestone and Grays are at the scene along with staff from the Highways Agency.
