People will need to keep their coats and gloves handy this week as a cold snap looks set to descend on Suffolk.
Forecasters are predicting will fall to about 5C (41F) during the day on Wednesday with the chance of showers adding to the miserable outlook.
Despite reports that the country is about to be hit by snow, the county is expected to miss out on the worst of it, however there is the chance of some sleet on Wednesday.
Chris Bell, a forecaster at Weatherquest, said: “There is some much colder weather on the way.”
Today is expected to be quite grey and drizzly in the morning but there should be high temperatures of about 9C (48F) and on Tuesday high temperatures of about 5C are expected.
