A man has denied holding another man against his will in Suffolk and Essex and forcing him to work as a slave.
Hadley Doran, 23, of Vian Close, Gosport, Hampshire, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court where he denied keeping another person as a slave and two counts of assault.
The charges relate to one alleged victim and are said to have happened at properties across north Essex and Suffolk between July last year and March this year.
The case was adjourned to July 15.
