Motorists in Suffolk and Essex are being urged to take care when travelling this morning as heavy rain overnight and this morning has led to standing water on some roads.
Forecasters are predicting heavy rain will continue into this afternoon, with temperatures reaching highs of about 15C.
Drivers are advised to take extra time for their journeys and to drive to the conditions.
There have so far been no major delays reported on roads in the county, however there was a single-vehicle incident on the A137 in Tattingstone this morning, which led to the road being partially blocked between the Station Road and Valley Lane junctions.
Meanwhile, Greater Anglia is reporting no major delays on the mainline between Ipswich and London.
