Commuters face a trouble-free journey into work today with no reported delays on the region’s road or rail networks.

A fallen tree had blocked Lowes Hill in Kelsale but that has now been cleared and earlier signal problems on the rail line between Needham Market and Ipswich have now been resolved.

Elsewhere the major roads in north Essex and Suffolk are currently running as normal and there are no further rail delays.

The weather today will be dry and sunny with cloudy spells and maximum temperatures expected to reach 21C.
