Suffolk firefighters rescued a dog from a 40ft well this afternoon.

The dog, named Ollie, was trapped down in Blaxhall, in teh east of the county.

Crews from Felixstowe, Saxmundham and Lowestoft attended to rescue the stranded canine, using “advanced working at height equipment”

A service spokesman said it was a “great team effort to rescue Ollie”.
