Firefighters were scrambled to Barking Tye on Tuesday evening following reports of a car fire.
The incident was on an un-named road and one crew from Hadleigh were called to the scene just after 10.05pm.
On arrival the crew found one car alight – the blaze was brought under control by 10.42pm.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
