Suffolk: Fire service back to normal after day of strike action

Suffolk’s fire service dealt with nine incidents during the latest strike action by firefighters – but reported no injuries or significant issues.
The brigade ran a reduced contingency service from 10am to 5pm on Saturday.
Of the incidents attended, four were automatic alarms going off accidentally in Lakenheath, Ipswich, Felixstowe and Claydon.
Crews also dealt with a car fire in Ipswich, a crash on the A1092, Clare, and two undergrowth fires in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
