Firefighters called to cat stuck up tree for 36 hours in Yoxford

Firefighters have been called to rescue a cat that has reportedly been stuck up a tree in Yoxford for more than 36 hours.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called at 9.10am to Strickland Manor Hill, where the cat is stuck.

One crew from Ixworth is attending to rescue the stricken moggie, which a fire service spokesman said had been stuck for more than 36 hours.
