Firefighters were needlessly called to two incidents in Suffolk this morning, officers reported.
The first was in Felixstowe where the boiler flue of a Bath Road property triggered the fire alarm at 8.04am.
Officers checked the building on arrival but were not required to carry out any work.
A crew from Sudbury also attended a shed fire in Prospect Hill, Great Cornard, at 10.34am.
However, the flames had already been extinguished on officers’ arrival and no action was taken by the crew.
