THOUSANDS of people across the county will enjoy bonfire night celebrations this weekend - here’s where they are if you’ve yet to plan your weekend.

- Friday, November 5

BAWBURGH. Village Hall: Bonfire night, children’s fancy dress competition, barbecue and bar, bonfire 7pm fireworks 7.30pm �3/children (under 12) �1.50.

BRADFIELD ST. GEORGE. Fox & Hounds Pub, Felsham Road: Fireworks Display, 6pm bonfire & barbecue, 7pm fireworks, donations.

BURY ST EDMUNDS, Bury Rugby Club, gates open at 5.30pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Food, licensed bar, music. Tickets �5 on foot, �15 per car, �3 children up to 12-years-old, children under 5 free.

COPDOCK. Village Hall: Bonfire & Fireworks, gates 6pm, bonfire 6.30pm, �4 adults, �2 child, family �10, bbq and refreshments available, iao St Peter’s Church.

DISS. Football Club: Bonfire night, hot food and drinks, gates 6.30pm for bonfire at 7pm followed by fireworks.

HARLESTON. Magpies Hockey Club: Firework spectacular, set to music, gates open 6 for 7pm �6/children �4 (5-16) or �5/�4 if purchased from Card and Party Shop, Jacksons Fruiterers, Kitchen Sense or Whiskers Pet Shop in advance.

HOLBROOK. Broom Hill: Firework Extravaganzer, gates 6pm, fireworks 7pm, BBQ, Jacket potatoes, hot & cold drinks, �5 adults, �2.50 U16’s.

BRETTENHAM, IPSWICH. Old Buckenham Hall School: Fireworks in the Park, Gates open 5.45pm, big bonfire 6pm, firework display 7pm, refreshments & stalls.

BURY ST EDMUNDS: Abbey Gardens, gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7.30pm Tickets up to �20 (family ticket), available from Sainsburys and Tesco.

CAVENDISH. On the Green: Bonfire with fireworks, From 6pm, bonfire 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm, donations.

CHELMONDISTON. Village Playing Field: Fireworks Display, From 6pm, advance tickets �4.50, children 4-16 �2.50, extra 50p at gate on night, bbq, soft drinks & light toys available.

HELLESDON. Firside Junior School, Middletons Lane: Fireworks and barbecue, organised by 2nd Hellesdon Scout group, gates open 6.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm and 8.45pm �4.
