Footballers in Suffolk are being urged to donate their old football boots to help budding footballers in Africa.
Suffolk FA is supporting the scheme as part of the Love Football, Live Football Week from October 14-22, with boot banks being set up at five locations across the county.
The banks will be at the following locations from October 9-27:
•Victory Ground, Nowton Road, Bury St Edmunds
•The New Croft, Chalkstone Way, Haverhill
•Whitton Sports Centre, Whitton Church Lane, Ipswich
•Denes Ormiston Academy, Yarmouth Road, Lowestoft
•Suffolk FA, The Buntings, Stowmarket
Michael Cornall from Suffolk FA said: “They [Boots2Africa] are a fantastic cause and as well as celebrating grassroots football in Suffolk, this initiative provides the opportunity to support football on a global scale.”
In the last year more than 3,000 boots have been collected.
