SUFFOLK Coastal MP Dr Therese Coffey is urging residents to take up a free insulation offer from British Gas before it closes on November 30.
She said: “All constituents will be annoyed at the recent rise in fuel prices. We still have the cheapest unit prices in Europe, but our homes are in need of energy efficiency improvements.
“British Gas are offering every home free insulation, which can save around �175 a year on your bill.” She said, in those homes that had taken up the offer, energy consumption reduced by an average 22% per household.
