Jean Kent
The funeral of former film star Jean Kent has taken place.
The 92-year-old, whose real name was Joan Mildred Hurst ,starred in films in the 1940s and 50s alongside the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Michael Redgrave and Laurence Olivier.
Miss Kent died at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, in November following a fall at her home in Westhorpe.
Her funeral, which had to originally be cancelled so a post mortem could take place, took place at St Margaret’s Church, Westhorpe, today.
Tributes from celebrities including David Jason and Penelope Keith featured in the service.
