Supporters of a Suffolk charity have been given a “heartfelt thank you” at a tea party uniting donors with the families they helped.
GeeWizz, which helps disabled and seriously ill children become more mobile, held its second annual celebration at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall.
Charity founder Gina Long said she was delighted with its success.
“Saying ‘thank you’ is such an important part of any charity and we wanted everyone who has supported GeeWizz over the last 12 months, and beyond, to know how much we appreciate it,” she added.
We also wanted to invite the families we have helped - as part of the charity promoting transparent fundraising in every way possible.
“I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who supported what was a very special afternoon.”
The event, which received support from Archant Suffolk, Coastline Graphics and Milsom Hotels and Restaurants, included fun, games and an afternoon tea.
GeeWizz provides specialist equipment to children and young adults living in Suffolk and Norfolk with life-threatening conditions, a disability or cancer.
