A 20-YEAR-old Suffolk man was arrested after police were targeted by missiles while breaking up a rave in the Cotswolds.
He was among three people taken into custody after around 600 revellers attended the event near Great Barrington in Gloucestershire.
The trio were taking to at Cheltenham Police Station after officers were called to the rave just before 2am yesterday.
The other suspects arrested for public order offences were 17-year-old male youth from Essex and a 19-year-old man from Buckinghamshire.
Officer seized a large amount of audio equipment from the scene.
Chief Inspector Steve Radcliffe, who co-ordinated the operation, said: “We were called just before 2am following reports hundreds of people had gathered illegally in a field near Great Barrington.
“Police who attended were met with a group of aggressive people who used missiles to attack officers. No-one was seriously injured during the operation.”
