A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries at schools in Suffolk.

The 25-year-old man from Frinton-on-Sea in Essex was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary on Friday 19. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he was questioned by detectives.

He was released on police bail yesterday and is due to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on Wednesday July 3.

Nearly 30 Suffolk schools have been targeted by computer thieves over the past five months, taking equipment with an estimated value of £110,000.
