More than 70 lots are up for grabs in an online auction organised by a children’s charity raising funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
The sales includes an exclusive range of prizes, including VIP football tickets at Ipswich Town and the chance to see Suffolk singer Ed Sheeran live in concert.
The auction has been organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) special events committee.
It is chaired by veteran fundraiser Gina Long, who said: “I’m so pleased EACH and The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation will both benefit from what I’m sure will be a super online auction this October.
“We have many fabulous items and experiences to suit all budgets and I would encourage everyone to keep an eye on the EACH auction page on thesaleroom.com.
“We are so grateful to everyone who has donated a prize to the auction and can still accept more.”
Lots for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation auction include dinner and an overnight stay at the Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh; a private tour of Althorp House hosted by Earl Spencer; and an overnight stay at London’s The Goring Hotel.
Other lots include attending a training session and football match at Barcelona, VIP tickets for the FIFA Ballon d’Or Awards and a week-long stay for eight guests at the Brewers House, Southwold.
Other Suffolk-based lots include a ‘Glamping’ bell tent hire from Events Under Canvas of East Bergholt and four-ball rounds of golf at Stoke by Nayland and Ufford Park.
For horse racing fans, a ‘Premier Experience’ for four people at Newmarket, the home of racing, is also available.
With Sir Bobby Robson’s close links to Ipswich Town, there are several prizes for Town fans, including VIP Hospitality and directors’ box seats for two people, the chance to watch a training session and meet the team as well as two academy training sessions; for a team of 12-15-year-olds and 16-18-year-olds.
The auction ends on October 19.
