A MOTORIST in his 20s suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a two-vehicle car collision on Saturday evening.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were sent to Green Road in Brandon at 11.37pm following reports of the collision between a Peugeot and a Fiat.
The road had to be closed for nearly four hours as recovery was arranged and the scene was cleared.
The male driver of the Peugeot had to be released from his car by the fire service before he was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the incident and the road was re-opened at 3.25am.
