Thieves are reported to have stolen two large metal excavator buckets from a Suffolk field.
Suffolk police officers are appealing for public help tracing the stolen JCB buckets, whihc were taken from a field in Horringer, near Bury St Edmunds.
A police spokesman said the theft happened at some point between 5.30pm on Friday, August 10 and 4pm on Saturday August, 11.
An unknown offender is believed to have entered a field in Sharp’s Lane in the village from which they stole a 4ft digger bucket and a JCB root bucket, thought to be worth hundreds of pounds.
Anybody who has witnessed the sudden arrival of such items or who may have been offered such items for sale is asked to call Suffolk police on 101 quoting reference 47104/18.
