A black BMW is reported to have been “deliberately keyed” in a Suffolk car park – causing a “significant amount of damage”.

Suffolk police received reports of an incident of criminal damage in a Hadleigh carpark at around 9.15am on Friday.

When the car’s owner returned to the Morrison’s carpark in Calais Street, a witness is said to have come forward and reported that he had seen a man damaging the car.

“Unfortunately the contact details of the witness were not recorded correctly so police are appealing for him to come forward,” a spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary added.

Any other witnesses are also asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 35914/18.
