A driver who was stopped by police in Ipswich had almost 100 wraps of cocaine found in his home after a search by officers.

A man in his 20s was stopped while driving in Romney Road in the Nacton area of Ipswich around 4pm on Wednesday, September 25.

Once out of the car, police searched the man and found a bag containing brown powder in the mans trousers.

The police then conducted a search of the mans home where they found almost 100 wraps of cocaine, £150 in cash and multiple SIM cards.

The 25 year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and taken to Marltesham police HQ for questioning.
