Three people arrested following a robbery at a west Suffolk convenience store, in which staff were said to have been threatened with a metal pole, will face no further action, police said.
The robbery happened at about 10pm on Wednesday, March 21, at the Spar in Church Road, Barningham, north of Bury St Edmunds.
A man was reported to have entered the store wielding a metal pole and demanding money and alcohol from staff. He was said to have left with cash and three bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey.
A 22-year-old man from the Bury St Edmunds area; a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from the Diss area, were released under investigation. Police confirmed today they no further action will be taken against them.
