Police have seized a car in the centre of Ipswich as it was unroadworthy and didn’t have the correct insurance.
The red VW Sharan, which had a foreign number plate, was in Upper Brook Street, near the Sainsbury’s, and has now been removed.
Separately, police officers came across an accident involving a car and a bike in Dogs Head Street at 11.20am.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the male rider was knocked off his bike, but didn’t suffer any injuries.
No arrests have been made.
