Fears have been raised that an Ipswich street has become inundated with drivers breaking the speed limit.

Ipswich Central Police said people living along Christchurch Street in the town had raised “real concerns” about the speeding problem.

“There are concerns that Christchurch Street in Ipswich is becoming a haven for speeding motorists who are utilising this stretch of road as a cut through and flouting speed limits whilst doing so,” the force said on Twitter.

“This is causing residents who live on the road real concern.”
