A Bury St Edmunds opticians has donated high-visibility vests to a nearby primary school to help keep pupils safe on outdoor trips.
Specsavers gave nearly 200 hi-vis jackets to Honington Primary School so that the children would be ready for their upcoming outings and excursions.
Ian Gately, ophthalmic director of Specsavers in Bury St Edmunds, said: “It’s so important to make sure the kids in our community can be seen, especially when their on trips outside of school.”
Lauren Moore, headteacher at Honington Primary School, said: “We would like to thanks Specsavers in Bury St Edmunds for their very generous donation. “It is because of community-minded people like them, that organisations like ours can feel supported and appreciated.”
