AN Ipswich teenager is due in court on Monday charged with manslaughter after a fatal road collision near Sutton Hoo on Thursday night.
Luke Burdakay, 19, of Birkfield Drive, Ipswich has been charged following the death of 20-year-old Laureen Hammond of Sutton.
Burdakay has also been charge with aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent causing death, causing death while driving uninsured, and causing death while driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He has also been charged with one offence which is unrelated to the collision: attempted robbery on January 28 at the Trawler’s Catch Fish Shop, High Street, Saxmundham.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the South East Suffolk Magistrates Court on Monday morning, 7th February.
