After heavy downpours this week, the clouds have cleared and this morning we have had a bright and sunny start.
Things are expected to stay dry and warm throughout today, with a few chilly spots in some areas and clouds building in the west giving us a slightly hazy afternoon.
With temperatures of around 20C, it will not hit the highs of the July heatwave - but it still remains above average for this time of year.
The bright and sunny starts will continue throughout the weekend as things get a little warmer, a with pleasant 23-25C is expected for Saturday and Sunday - where there will be bright and sunny starts with some cloud.
Things are expected to stay that way heading into next week, with the above average heat remaining in the mid-20Cs on both Monday and Tuesday.
