FIRE crews are currently at the British Sugar factory after a blaze broke out in a sugar drier.
Fire broke out in the drier at about 5.10am today at the factory in Hollow Road.
Two fire crews were called to the blaze and spent time removing the product from the drier and damping down.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said it was not a huge fire but it might take fire fighters some time to remove all of the product from the drier.
