Police in Stowmarket have released images of a man they want to speak to for the allegedly racially aggravated abuse of a taxi driver.

The incident took place on New Year’s Day at around 12.50am in the Market Place in the town centre.

The taxi driver alleged he was verbally abused and his vehicle damaged while he was dealing with a female passenger who was being sick.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “Anyone who recognises the individual depicted in the images or has knowledge of the incident should contact Stowmarket police, quoting crime reference 37/46/19.”
