On Thursday at about 8.45am a boy saw a blue Mercedes outside the Chatsworth Crescent Co-operative store, close to Halifax Primary School.

Just 15 minutes earlier a scared 12-year-old girl was followed near Stoke High School, along Maidenhall Approach, by a blue car being driven slowly. When the driver called out to her she ran to school.

Police said that on the previous day, Wednesday at 3pm, a similar car was seen parked outside Hillside Primary School, and at 11.15am that day it was sighted in Mallard Way, near Chantry High School.

A 15-year-old girl was walking home when the driver of a blue Mercedes with tinted windows sounded his horn and called out to her, before she ran home.
