FIREFIGHTERS in Suffolk have tackled a suspicious fire near the A14 this afternoon.
Two crews, one from Bury St Edmunds fire station and another from Ixworth attended at the scene at about 2.41pm.
The blaze was near to junction 43 on the eastbound carriageway, behind the woods at Sainsbury's.
Upon arrival they discovered approximately 30 square metres of trees and undergrowth well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze and the flames were brought under control by 3pm.
An investigation has been launched into the incident after the fire was deemed suspicious.
