INVESTIGATORS are this morning at the scene of a “suspicious” fire over an Indian restaurant.Three people were evacuated from flats above the Rose of Bengal restaurant in Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, at shortly after 8am.

INVESTIGATORS are this morning at the scene of a “suspicious” fire over an Indian restaurant.
Three people were evacuated from flats above the Rose of Bengal restaurant in Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, at shortly after 8am.
Three fire engines and the turntable ladder were called to the scene from the Bury station and they had the incident under control by 9.30am. A spokesman for the fire service said the cause of the fire in a bedroom cupboard required was now under closer examination.
