Syleham: Fire and ambulance crews attended a single-vehicle crash yesterday evening.

Firefighters were called by paramedics just after 5pm to the incident where the car had ended up partially in a ditch.

They attended the scene in Weybread Road with crews from Stradbroke, Eye and Halstead.

They had arrived on site by 5.20pm.

Firefighters first helped with getting the casualty out of the car before leaving them in the care of paramedics.

They then made the vehicle safe before returning to their respective bases.
